I help brands and people authentically market themselves in today's attention economy.
All marketers are liars.
I'm not the first one to say this, well Seth Godin said it, and we're not going to run out of material to prove it anytime soon. Nonetheless, (you know it's serious when someone uses 'nonetheless') as a marketer all I care about with my clients is the relationship we have which can only be built on trust and transparency; no zero sum games.
Through authenticity and appropriate scoping we can start a fire together. Marketing in this day and age isn't about pure creativity nor is it a purely technical endeavor, blending both is where an organization or person can really shine and communicate their value to the world.
I can help you bridge that gap with the skills I've acquired over the last 8 years in all areas of marketing, leadership and strategy.
My services include (but are not limited to)
What is technical creativity CC ?
Technical creativity is a term I've coined a while back to describe the gap that most marketers today must bridge in order to combine advertising and creative chops with the demands of digital platforms. Being technically creative means being able to understand what the algorithms want to create content that can be placed in the digital real estate of social media, websites and applications. Having been the Managing Director of a Performance marketing agency for 8 years and coming from a copywriting background, I've helped hundreds of brands, media personalities and business executives understand how to create content and strategies for maximum visibility and ROI.
Try not to take me too seriously.
Sorry for the poor quality, had to screen grab from my IG because I couldn't find the source.
Let's bring back the polymaths.
I didn't just use an obscure 16th century word for no reason.
I could have easily said 'generalists' because that's the term in vogue right now in business psychology lit, but hey polymath sounds cooler. In all seriousness, one of the things my life has lead me to believe is that the most beautiful part of being human today is to be curious and knowledgeable with regards to all areas of human inquiry. I've studied Biology in Lycée Français, dabbled in Molecular Biology in Concordia Montreal before dropping out to study Arab Studies, History and Philosophy in the American University in Cairo and working professionally in Marketing for the most part of my adult life. Obviously an old school polymath would squash me in breadth and range of disciplines mastered but my point here is to show that curiosity and lifelong learning is so important to being a professional today in a hyper specialized world.
“The challenge we all face is how to maintain the benefits of breadth, diverse experience, interdisciplinary thinking, and delayed concentration in a world that increasingly incentivizes, even demands, hyperspecialization”
― David Epstein, Range: How Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World

Yes I did just put a picture of me and my niece for the 'Awwwwh' factor.
